Taking into consideration the measure policy of the government and the current infection status, we decided to cancel or postpone all the 72 shows and events of LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020 to be held in April.

We made this decision in order to ensure the health and safety of viewers. We feel very disappointed and sorry for fans who looked forward to LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020.

“LDH expert group on the novel coronavirus infection control*” formed by LDH’s experts held a meeting today to discuss countermeasures against the infection, and it was deemed by the experts that holding live shows now will be more difficult than expected taking into account the current situation.
Since the repeated announcements about cancelations and postponements of the live shows will bring trouble and anxiety to fans, so we decided to cancel all the shows in April.

However, it is not a simple cancelation. We canceled the shows so that we can have a bright future after the infection is under control. After repeated discussions with the members and staff, we decided to extend LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020 to March 2021.

LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020 was scheduled to have 4 seasons: “IGNITION (January ~ March)”, “IMAGINATION (April ~ June)”, “INFINITY (July ~ October)” and “BEYOND THE BORDER (November ~ December)”. Since it has been extended, the final season will be held under the theme “RISING SUN ~TO THE WORLD~ (January 2021 ~ March 2021)”.

“RISING SUN ~TO THE WORLD~” is based on the theme of “Rising Sun”, a song created by EXILE with the idea to “Inspire Japan” for the reconstruction of affected areas by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Although this infection is totally different from the Great East Japan Earthquake, this season will contain the hope and desire of overcoming the difficulty we have never experienced and moving forward steadily towards the bright future.

“Rising Sun” contains the idea that EXILE always values.
The reason why EXILE could become what it is now lies in the fact that EXILE never gives up when facing difficulties. EXILE always overcomes difficulties and enters the next era. This spirit, that EXILE always had, is inherited by EXILE TRIBE and everyone from LDH.

It is hard to predict the spread of infection in the future. In order to bring the live shows again to you, LDH has formed an “LDH expert group on the novel coronavirus infection control*”. This group will ensure the daily health management and implement countermeasures to ensure the safety and health of all related people when the live shows are held again.

What’s more, we are also focusing on things that can be done in this period when we cannot hold live shows. We hope our fans can enjoy LDH’s entertainment at home, so the members and staff have been putting forward proposals and making various preparations in these days.

Finally, we will extend LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020 by adding the new season “RISING SUN ~TO THE WORLD~”. Again, we incorporate the theme “Inspire Japan” into LDH’s entertainment. LDH’s artists and staff will unite to bring you entertainment full of LOVE, DREAM & HAPPINESS. We will bring smile and happiness to everyone who is waiting for our coming back!
